Dog friendly hotels in Coeur d'Alene are everywhere, as the city has recently been recognized as the most dog friendly city in the country by Dog Fancy's magazine. Dog owners in the city say they are able to take their pooches just about everywhere with them and they are welcomed.
There are many places in town for dog owners to take their pets for exercise outdoors, including the Canfield Mountain Trails and Centennial Trail.
